火是大家的好帮手，但火也是森林的头号仇敌。
同学们都知道，我们的生活已离不开火。做饭需要火，取暖需要火，放鞭炮同样需要火的鼎立相助。但是，如果大意用火，那就将失掉“荆洲”。
还记得1998年的全国十大火灾么。那次火可是胆打包天。
一、1月3日2时15分，吉林省通化市东珠宾馆（与香港合资，6层，高20米，面积4200平方米）发生火灾，造成24人死亡（跳楼摔死4人）、14人受伤，烧毁建筑1680平方米及物品一批，直接财产损失31.6万元。火灾系宾馆保安员使用电暖器取暖时长时间离位，电暖器烤燃附近可燃物所致。
二、1月31日2时，黑龙江省佳木斯市华联商厦（局部6层，高22米，总面积28600平方米）发生火灾，烧死1人，烧伤5人，烧毁商厦1至4楼的大部分商品，过火面积2万平方米，直接财产损失3638万元。火灾系储蓄所使用的电热管加热器（无温控装置）未切断电源，长时间通电发热引燃附近可燃物所致。
三、2月13日9时55分，广东省广州市华润化妆品厂（股份制企业）发生火灾，造成11人死亡、1人受伤，烧毁建筑354平方米及化妆品一批，直接财产损失近10万元。火灾系该厂职工在车间检修丁烷空气压缩机时，铁质工具撞击机件不生火花引燃泄漏的丁烷气体所致。
四、3月5日18时5分，陕西省西安市煤气公司液化石油气所（占地35.8亩，储气2340立方米）贮气罐区发生爆炸火灾事故，5个储罐、8辆液化气槽车被毁坏，过火面积4.5万平方米，并造成11人死亡（其中7名消防官兵牺牲）、30人受伤（其中消防人员11人），直接财产损失477.8万元。事故系编号为11号的球型罐（400立方米）的排污阀上部法兰密封垫失效，造成液化石油气大量泄漏，形成爆炸的可燃气体电电火花所致。五、4月28日9时18分，河北省石家庄市电镀一厂化工车间发生火灾，造成6人死亡、14人受伤（10名消防官兵中毒受伤），使4层（局部2层）的生产厂房（高29.88米，面积2100平方米）全部过火，生产设备严重烧损，直接财产损失547.6万元。火灾系当班操作工关闭二氧化硫进气阀，致使纳氏泵内产生的高温所致。
六、5月5日17时，北京市丰台区玉泉营环岛家具城发生火灾，烧毁建筑23000平方米及参展的348个厂家的摊位，直接财产损失2087.8万元。火灾系该家具城北厅的电铃线圈过热，引燃裹在线圈外部的牛皮纸等可燃物，火星掉落在沙发上所致。
七、7月13日10时11分，1913次货物列车（由湖南开往昆明）途经贵州省镇远县朝阳坝二号隧道时发生爆炸火灾事故，造成6人死亡、20人受伤，并造成湘；黔线中断21天。
八、8月26日9时许，江苏省常州市第一人民医院住院部二号楼四楼净化室发生火灾，造成14人死亡（高龄病人11名、看护人员2名、护士1名）、14人受伤，过火面积270平方米，烧毁窗式空调9台，直接财产损失4.2万元。火灾系无证焊工陈朝新（医院长期雇用的临时工）在四楼净化室拆除风机时，在没有清理现场的情况下违章切割，焊花溅落在拆下的木板、海绵上所致。
九、10月27日19时许，北京市“居然之家”家具城（总面积19800平方米）发生火灾，烧死2人，烧毁参展的62个厂家的摊位，过火面积6000平方米，直接财产损失380万元。火灾系违章电焊引燃临近布料所致。
十、12月30日3时许，浙江省慈溪市浒山镇呱呱快餐店（个体企业）发生火灾，造成10人死亡（包括店主全家4口），过火面积700多平方米，直接财产损失约40万元。火灾原因正在调查。

今天我演讲的题目是《幸福与安全》。
激情六月、阳光灿烂，生命就如同这飞火流萤一样的美丽！我们歌颂生命，因为生命是宝贵的，它属于我们每个人只有一次；我们热爱生命，因为生命是美好的，它令我们的人生焕发出灼灼光彩。“生命”是一个多么鲜活的词语；“安全”，一个多么古老的话题；“幸福”一个多么美妙的境界。也许在座的各位小时候都有这样的人生经历：在我们蹒跚学步的时候，母亲会经常充满关爱地指点：“孩子，绕过前面的石子……”；在我们要飞车上学时，父亲会在身后语重心长地叮咛：“孩子，当心路上的汽车啊！……”丝丝缕缕都是爱，点点滴滴系着情。在人生的旅途上,祝你平安——是人们永恒的祝愿，祝你幸福——是人们共同的期盼。我相信，同学们都理解“平安是福”、“平安是金”等话语所包含的对生命的思考；我断定，同学们都曾用“平安、健康、幸福、顺利”等吉祥词语对父母、亲戚、同学、朋友表达过良好的祝愿。
健康、平安是生活赐给每一个懂得它意义的人的最好礼物，这就是幸福！安全重于泰山，它历来都是个人、家庭、集体、社会最基本的生命线，更是维系个人享受生活和集体保持稳定的最重要的保障线。
然而，面对生活、学习中可能存在的隐患和潜在的意外，您是否做好准备加以防范？
据统计，我国每年大约有1.6万名中小学生非正常死亡，中小学生因安全事故、食物中毒、溺水、自杀等死亡的，平均每天有40多人，也就是说每天将有一个班的学生在“消失”。校园安全涉及到青少年生活和学习方面的安全隐患有20种之多，其中包括交通事故、食物中毒、打架斗殴、体育运动损伤、火灾火险、溺水、吸毒、性侵犯、自杀等等。这些都时刻在威胁着我们学生的健康成长。曾记否：新疆克拉玛依发生特大火灾，共有三百多名师生葬身火海；河北省某中学做课间操时学生在楼梯间发生拥挤踩踏事故，造成数十名学生伤亡；山东某犯罪分子贾某闯入一小学，持刀砍伤25人；湖南一学生欲翻墙跑出校外，不慎重从围墙摔下身亡；黑龙江某中学组织学生到某水库远足，4名学生溺水而亡。也曾有这样的案例：课间在教室里打闹，结果出了人命；在走廊的护栏上显身手，结果翻下楼去上不来了……当然更不用说开水烫伤、洗手间滑倒挂彩、骑车摔断手脚的事了。看到这些触目惊心的案例与数据怎能不叫人心痛震惊，想相那些如流星般陨落的鲜活的生命和天真的容颜，又怎能不叫人扼腕叹息。校园安全事故频频发生，安全事故已经成为我国青少年的最大杀手。这些血的教训对我们来说是刻骨铭心的，反映了我们学生对安全防范意识还不强，应对突发事件的能力薄弱，暴露出我们在学校管理工作方面还存在着一些明显的漏洞和薄弱环节。
也许不少同学会认为，安全只是指身体的安全甚至是肢体的健壮和不受伤害；认为只要自己的肢体健全、行动自如那就叫安全。我认为，这决不是安全的全部。即便是一个具有健全的体格的人，如果他的思想道德水平低下、明辨是非能力不强，糊里糊涂攀兄弟、结姐妹，既有拉帮结派之嫌，又有醉翁喝酒之意；如果他不明不白逞义气、惹事端，不但喜好随波逐流，而且希望出点乱子；这表现出来的就是思想上的安全问题。再说，一个具有健全体格的人，如果他沉溺于不良书刊和网络游戏的精神～，天天吸、处处吸，甚至课堂上忍不住要走神，思之想之；深夜里忍不住要越墙泡网吧熬个通宵；如果他过早地迷恋于少男少女的缠绵悱恻，无端寻愁觅恨、疯疯傻傻、痴痴狂狂，甚至争风吃醋结恩怨，冲冠一怒为红颜。这表现出来的就是行为上的安全问题。有了这样不安全的行为，要踏踏实实地读好书，一帆风顺地读到头，那也是很难的。无论是人身安全还是思想安全，亦或是行为安全，它们都有一个共同的特点，那就是结果的残酷性。交通事故，游泳溺水事故、体育活动意外伤害事故，课间游戏追逐打闹偶发事故，轻者可以伤及体格，重者能够危及生命，它们造成的后果是残酷的。可是思想道德的残缺、行为方式的越轨比体格不健全更可怕。臧克家先生在《有的人》一诗中写道：“有的人活着，他已经死了。”我想，那些失去健康的精神追求、迷失正确的人生方向、空有一架活着的躯体行尸走肉的人不就是思想残缺的产物吗？这种“产物”充其量只能是没完没了地吸取消化父母亲血汗的机器，只能成为社会发展长河中的废物，甚至成为危害社会发展的危险物。当前学生中相继出现了不少因思想、心理、行为上的偏差而引发的伤亡事件，暴露出了当前学生在思想上、心理上和行为上具有普遍性的安全隐患。一个个触目惊心、血泪交织的悲剧不能不叫人扼腕叹息、心有余悸，也更对我们敲响了安全的警钟。
李岚清总理曾讲过一段话：每见到一份事故报告，都要引起我一阵阵心痛，尽管许多事故最终都能依法查处并追究责任，但人死不能复生，亡羊补牢，毕竟为时已晚，人死了，还谈什么“教书育人”呢？
