从学校毕业走上我喜爱的工作岗位至今已经30多个年头了,30年来,受学校领导的重视,我一直从事着初中英语教育教学工作,从刚开始对教学手段、方法的一无所知到现在对教学手段、方法的有效应用,有着太多的心酸与苦楚,但现在的我是快乐的,快乐学生喜欢听我的课,快乐中有喜欢、爱我的学生,快乐中家长的认同、学校的认可,快乐付出与回报的真理。下面就我这几年来从事的中学英语教育教学工作谈一下自己的体会:

一、要取得好的课堂教学效果首先要学会爱学生

我一直认为只有拥有关爱学生之心的老师才会真正热爱自己的教师职业,才会尽职尽责完成教学任务。会去爱学生的老师自然就可以营造出良好的师生关系,才会去努力营造良好的教学氛围,如果师生之间能处于一种和谐的状态,教学当中出现的问题便能迎刃而解。所以在教学过程中,我始终把关爱学生放在了第一位。只要是我的学生,无论成绩好坏,我都一视同仁,平等对待。对性格孤僻的学生和学习状态调整不过来的学生,尤其给予了更多热情帮助。有付出就一定会有回报,教师的真诚学生是能感受到的,在任教多年的班级中,学生都能够将自己的想法告诉我,当然包括成长的喜悦和烦恼,也包括教学上的成绩与不足,我感觉到了莫大的喜悦与满足,学生让我成长了许多,学到了许多!在课堂上一直提醒自己要坚持与学生平等相处,鼓励他们谈自己的想法,尽量使师生之间形成一种平等交流的习惯,才能充分发挥学生的学习主动性,课堂教学的效果才能得到真正实现,学生的自信度才会增强!

二、教师自身素质的提高是教学的保证,要“身正学高”师生同乐

要成为一名优秀的教师,光有爱心还远远不够,爱心只是作好称职老师教好书的前提。所谓“身正为范,学高为师”,要作一个好老师,不仅要能得学生心,还要在各方面都能在学生面前起到表率作用,无论是工作还是学识上都应该让学生佩服,这样学生才会对你产生信任感,才会甘心听从你的教导,才会喜欢上你的课。老师对学生的承诺一定要做到,否则在学生心中的信任度就会大打折扣,学生对老师没有信任感后,无论你实施的什么制度和提出的建议,学生会容易产生抵抗情绪,管理和教学工作就很难开展,比如高一“新闻播报”环节,我要求学生轮流针对生活中的事件或者时事进行选择播报和简单的点评,课上再加上其他同学的想法和老师的引导会使学生更为深刻的去看待生活。言传身教,才能起到潜移默化的效果。教学上,要传给学生“一滴水”之前,我必须先准备好“一桶水”,“学高”才为真“师傅”。为了跟上最新的教育理论,我订阅了《英语周报》《中学生英语报》等理论报刊,天天浏览时事资源把握新闻动态,并不时请教老教师,坚持一周听一到三节的课以积累更多的教学经验,课后还阅读了各种书籍,拓展自己的知识面,不管工作多忙,时间多紧,都严格要求自己要反复钻研教材,反思教学过程!

另外,我认为新教师要多主动承担各项任务以提高自身的业务技能,在一年的工作中我主动承担了学校“农远”英语资料的下载整理工作,并主动承担学校的英语示范课教学,还代表我校参加片、县组织的英语课堂评比与教学设计比赛,积累了很多宝贵的教育教学经验。

三、充分的备课是上好课的前提条件

备课是搞好课堂教学的前提,也是教师自身学习、提高和完善的重要过程,教师只有认真备好课,才能制定出周密的上课计划,妥当的安排课堂教学的各个环节和时间,胸有成竹运用自如地发挥在课堂教学中的主导作用。

1、

备课时要钻研教学大纲,通读、熟悉、钻研教材,找出教材的重点、难点和它们之间的内在联系,根据教材内容制定教学目的、教学要求和教学方法,教学大纲是编写教材的依据,是教师进行教学的依据,是学生学习的依据,也是考核的依据,因此要重视大纲的学习。在钻研大纲的基础上通读教材,可以增强对教材的理解。只有对教材有较深刻的理解,才能驾驭教材。要理解教材,不能只读一课书或一个单元,必须通读全册教材,有条件时应通读全套教材。不仅通读,还要熟读、钻研教材。只有这样才能掌握教材的重点、难点和它们之间的内在联系。

2、备课时不要受课次顺序的限制,而要把一个单元作为一个整体来考虑。按单元备课比按课次顺序备课更可以突出重点,对重点练的机会更多,因而不仅节省了时间,而且还能够通过过多练达到熟练掌握。

3、备课时应根据学习的一般规律和学习英语的特殊规律考虑教法。人们认识问题一般是由浅入深、由近及远、由表及里、由简单到复杂,逐步发展和提高的。因此在教学过程中老师不应超越学生现阶段的认识能力和学习过程。我们在教学中常用旧单词引出新句型、用旧句型引出新词汇,这个做法是符合学生的认识规律的。有的老是喜欢把生词写在小黑板上,一个一个的带读,带着拼,这种方法不大好。因为孤立地记单词是难以记住的,即使一时记住了,到头来还是不会用。老师应该把词放在上下文的句子里教,这样不但容易记,而且记住以后也会用。

四、合适教学方法和手段的使用为上好一节英语课锦上添花

英语课堂教学有别于其它学科的教学,它是一种多层次、多功能、综合运用各种感官的活动,是教与学双向作用的复杂而又细致的过程。我们在选择采用何种教学方法时的宗旨是:在一个相对轻松活泼的英语读、写、听、说的环境中,在以学生为中心的教学理念引领下,激发学生的学习动机,调动学生的学习积极性,有效地激发学生的学习热情,优化课堂气氛,以获得最佳教学效果。下面是我经常使用的一些教学方法:

1、分组讨论法

在课上我们通常将学生分成若干小组,当课文或学习中出现一些难点时,可以安排学生对这些问题进行小组讨论,使每个同学都参与到思考问题、解决问题的行列中,再让学生以小组为单位给出相应的答案或他们的理解,之后再通过启发和全班同学的讨论结果得出答案;这种方法有助于集思广益,调动全班同学的积极性。并且在小组讨论的过程中,能使得成绩较好的学生带动较差的学生学习。另外,还可以举行小组间的比赛。比如,请每个小组派代表来进行单词拼写比赛或者看动作猜单词比赛等等。通过比赛,可以活跃气氛,也使大家能取长补短,直观地学到更多东西。

2、

及时检测法

定期给学生做一些与所学内容相关的题目,并给出评价是激发学生学习,帮助学生有效调控自己的学习过程,查缺补漏,并使学生获得成就感,增强自信心的有效方法。例如,我们老师会在课后根据近期所学过的课文里的单词、词组和语法知识设置一套练习题,用课堂时间来进行小测验,并讲解正确答案。让学生了解自己最近一段时间的学习成效,还有哪些方面的知识没掌握好,使学生学习目标更加明确,学起来更有动力和方向。还有,学习语言最重要的是单词的积累,所以,每次课后要坚持督促学生背单词,在下一次课前要进行单词听写,及时强化记忆。

3、

启发式教学法

让学生成为课堂的主导同样也是激发学生学习热情的好方法。我们会根据文章的内容,提出有关切合学生实际又能体现课文内容的问题,让学生在课堂上发挥想象力,自由讨论,使学生在联系自己的生活、分享同伴的经历中进入新课学习。例如,在讲与麦当劳有关的课文前可以让学生说说自己对麦当劳公司及快餐文化的了解,并说出自己喜欢的快餐食物的英文名称,和中西方快餐文化的差异等等,以这样轻松的方式导入到课文,可以让学生对课文的内容产生兴趣,并能更主动更自然地融入到课堂的教和学中去。另外,我们教师在教学过程中多提问、多引导、多和学生一起讨论课文中的难点,让学生多一些思考的时间,多一些讨论问题的机会,甚至让学生来扮演课文讲解者的角色,自己领受和理解知识,避免硬性地灌输,从而形成一种双向的教与学的模式。

4、

分层次教学法

我们通常会在通过一段时间教学后会大致将学生分为基础较好的,中等的和较差的。这样便于教师在教学过程中针对不同层次的学生对症下药,较简单的问题请较差的学生来回答,在他们回答过程中多加以鼓励,增强差生的信心,使他们对学习不会产生反感,从自暴自弃转为主动接受学习的内容。较难的任务交给成绩好的学生来完成,使基础好的学生了解到自己还有很多不足,帮助他们避免骄傲的学习情绪,真正做到脚踏实地。而且这样做有助于让所有的学生都能参与到课堂活动中,充分调动所有人的积极性。

5、“生生互动”法

生生互动遵循“自主学习”和“以学生为中心”

的原则。它指的是学生个人与个人之间的互动;学生个人与小组之间的互动;学生个人与全班之间的互动;学生小组与小组之间的互动。生生互动的模式是让学生组织课堂教学。其基本要求是:1)备课充分;2)课堂活动的内容应与本单元得话题和语言点相关;3)课堂活动形式为生生互动的任何形式。衡量课堂活动成功的标准之一是其他学生参与课堂活动的学生人数越多越好。但对课堂活动的具体内容和形式则不做过细的要求,以免影响创造力的发挥。

6、情景教学法:

在教学中,教师不可能将真实生活情景搬入课堂,但能模拟真实情景,创设接近生活的真实语言环境,帮助学生了解对话内容,逼真地再现对话情境,使学生有身临其境的感觉,激发了他们内在的表激情,从而积极地参与对话活动,加深了对对话内容的理解。

五、把握课堂,认真上课,体现以人为本。

《英语课程标准》提出“让学生在教师的指导下,通过感知,体验,实践,参与和合作等方式,实现任务的目标,感受成功。”这便要求英语课的教学要以学生为主,培养他们学习英语的兴趣,提高他们对词汇,句型的听说认读和语言实际运用的能力。为此,在实际的教学过程中我做了以下几点:

1、

巧设导入,培养兴趣。每节的教学我首先通过做游戏,唱英语歌来激发学生的学习兴趣,让学生融洽在学习英语的氛围内。

2、图文结合,掌握新知。根据教材“图文并茂”的特点,充分运用单词卡片、实物教具、简笔画及肢体语言来启发学生,使学生带着明确的任务目标,并借助图片、动作、表情等手段掌握其义,让他们积极主动参与学习获取新知过程,培养他们学习英语的兴趣。在遇到难读的单词或句子时,我不厌其烦,耐心教导学生认读,力争让他们学了就懂,懂了会用,培养他们认读的能力。在学习新知的同时,还适时对他们进行思想教育。

3、

游戏活动,巩固新知。在完成了每节课的新授课任务后,抓住学生争强好胜的心理,通过师生互动、生生互动的游戏活动将教学内容层层铺开;为了尊重学生的个体差异,营造宽松的学习环境,以简单易操作的趣味性、多样化游戏为主来实施教学,让学生进行反复模仿、认读、玩演、视听,从而给他们提供充分的活动和交流机会,让学生在玩的过程中获得新知,提高他们语言的运用能力,培养他们的学习兴趣。

4、

通过听录音,复习新知。我常在每节课结束的前十分钟,让学生听有关本节课教学内容的录音磁带。第一遍先认真听,第二遍边听边跟读。在学生能听读后并要求学生用相应的肢体语言或动作入情入境的来模仿、表演对话。在学生进行合作学习、表演时及时给予示范和指导,让学生充分体验到成功的喜悦,体会到学习英语的乐趣。这样既复习了本节课的知识要点,又提高了同学们的听说能力和读音的准确性,,从而让学生真正做到眼到、口到、心到、手到。

六、课堂上老师的主导地位不能丢

新课程强调发挥学生主体性,把课堂还给学生,多给学生思考的空间。但其实,新教材的内容更要求教师对教材理解得很透,抓住重难点,能很好地启发学生思考,而不是一味地让学生自己看课书探究,尤其是中学学生,他们的自学能力,理解能力还不是很强,所以教师更要讲得精,更要善于引导。培养学生的自主学习能力远远比单纯的完成教学任务重要的多,不能为了一味追随新经验而忽略实际情况,放手之前要先看学生的水平如何。比如我教的有两个班的学生很活跃,设置问题就不能太放手否则课堂就会成为菜市场,毫无章法;而另外一个班的学生比较安静,设置问题就要环环相扣,让他们有话讲,适当地设置幽默环节否则课堂就会成为一潭死水,毫无生机;比较理想的教法是老师一定要担好引导者的“职责”,引导思维活跃的学生掌握正确的思考方式而不是无章法的胡乱思考,而对于沉闷的课堂就要注重培养学生的自信心和采用各种提问方式去激发学生表现的激情。总之英语教学一定要抓住学生的特点与现状因材施教,不能一味照搬教参和别人的教学方法

七、鉴于农村中学学生特点,今后教学的有关措施

1、

注重听说读写能力的培养

在学习知识的过程中,提示学生用科学的学习方法。课前预习,上课认真听讲记好笔记,课后能主动复习,驾御遗忘规律,形成一定的记忆方法并注重知识的联系、比较,使其具备一定的思维辨别能力。

提高学习兴趣

通过学习英文歌曲、猜英文谜语、做英式小游戏等加强对同学们英语兴趣的培养,以挖掘同学们学英语的内在动力,变“要我学”为“我要学”
