八年级英语下册课堂教学案例分析

一 教学背景

本课是牛津初中英语的内容,它涉及到学生的生活实际和学习需求,培养学生的语言能力和学习能力。倡导“任务型”的教学途径,课本设计了许多具有实际意义的任务和活动,单元教学结构层次分明,落实任务性教学,其最终目的是培养学生听,说,读,写综合运用能力,吸引学生充分参与到课堂活动中来,从而提高学生的英语水平。

二 学情分析

本节课主要是针对八年级下学期的学生的,要求学生能会使用英语来谈论日常礼仪活动。从年龄特点来看,八年级学生有一定的语言基础,好奇,好表现,希望得到老师的表扬,所以邓伟老师在教学中抓住学生这一特点发挥学生的主动积极性去激发学生学习的兴趣。由于江北的学生在进校时大部分的学生的基础不太好,所以邓老师在教学时注意因材施教,关注每一位学生的学习过程。

四.教学步骤;

Step 1 导入新课

T:Do you like watching TV?

T:OK. let’s watch a short video.

1. Then show the PPT:Remember: To be civilised(文明的)students

Step Two

Task One 任务一 Doing the right things

The Class 1, Grade 8 students are discussing the right and wrong things to do in public places.

Present some pictures first, and then show a question under each picture.

1.What should the boy do when he crosses the road?

(He should obey the traffic rules.)

2.What is the girl doing?

(She is picking flowers in the park.)

3.What should we do in the library?

(We should keep quiet in the library.)

4.What are the man and the woman doing?

(They are dropping litter everywhere.)

5.What is the man doing?

(He is queuing for his turn.)

Amy and her cousin Shirley are discussing what they should and should not do in the library.

1. Listen for the first time.

2. Listen again, and then complete the form.

3. Ask some Ss to tell the answers.

4. Check the answers.

5. Read after the tape.

6. Task Three: Pairwork.

(1)Work in pairs and discuss what we should and should not do in a public place. Use the conversation we have listened as a model.

(2) Give Ss several minutes, and then ask some pairs to act it out in front of the classroom.

对学生进行听力训练,并对题目进行适当简化,达到学生不因听力而丧失学习兴趣的目的。利用听力结果进行口语训练,巩固前面所学内容

Task Three任务三

Good manners are very important to everyone.Eddie and Hobo are discussing about manners.

1.Look at the four pictures on Page 64 carefully.

2.Answer the following questions.

(1). Do you think Eddie really wants to teach Hobo? (No. )

(2). What does Eddie teach Hobo?

(First, always share things with others. Second, don’t cut in on others. Always wait politely.)

(3). What does Eddie really want from Hobo?

(The cake.)

(4)At the end of the dialogue, what does Hobo say? (You are never too old to learn.)

3.Watch the video and then role play.

Step Five

Task Four 任务四 Writing写作

Our school has now started an activity called“Build Civilised(文明的) Classes and a Harmonious(和谐的)Campus”. What should we do to make our class and school more beautiful? Let’s write a proposal(倡议书).

To be a student with good manners

本节课主要带领学生学习了各种礼仪知识,这一目标的完成达到了预期的目的,许多学生都学会使用英语来谈论日常礼仪活动。但是在教学过程中也存在不足之处:学生在小组活动时,有些基础差的学生在练习对话中有点紧张,害怕出现读音和语法错误,不好意思开口,生生互动时间较少。针对以上现象,我觉得在以后的教学中要多关心基础差的同学,正确处理好教师“教”和学生“学”的关系,关注每一个学生发展语言运用能力,重视情感教育,不仅要关注学生的学习结果,还要关注他们的学习过程,让他们多与教师合作,多与同学交流,通过参与和互动提高他们的语言交际能力,从而提高他们学习英语的信心。
