最初知道自己有幸能成为NIBS的summer时欣喜中仍捎带着些许忐忑，对于每一个学生物而又对科研满怀热爱的学子而言，NIBS无疑是中国学术领域的一座圣殿。初到NIBS，便接触了美丽温柔的蒋显师姐，热心外向的张思韬师兄，严谨智慧的潘师兄，亲切呆萌的郭老师，有趣幽默的艾师兄，超酷大神瑛师兄……这里的人有千千万万种可爱模样却也都带着做Science的人的求真务实大胆创新。有人的地方，便有人情，而NIBS除却本身强硬的科研硬实力以外，更打动人心的是有这帮可爱的人的存在，丰富着建设着NIBS的现在和未来。
正如题记所写的每一个Summer都会收到的NIBS的一篇文字，在我们最美好的年纪，在中国最富有科研自由的土地上，多幸运而又多感恩能够遇上一群给予你犯错的机会并包容着不成熟尚且稚嫩的你犯下的错误的人儿。五周，说短不短，说长也不长，却足够让我们走近生物界大牛的科研世界，足够让我们感悟体会许多，足够让我们将这段时光镌刻入记忆。尽管前方道阻且长，但这里的人这里的生活让我比以往更加坚定自己未来做Science的道路。
最后，仅以一段文字作结，并希望所有Summer同学能够共勉：
Funding gathers, and now my research begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword of science. I burns against the illnesses, the light that brings the medication, the horn that wakes the agriculture, the shield that guards the knowledge of men. I pledge my life and honor to the biological sciences, for this day and all the days to come.
