明确足球队员文化教育的目标、指导思想、任务。今后一个时期,足球队员文化教育工作的总体目标:为培养既能攀登竞技足球高峰又能适应现代社会发展的合格人才,要逐步建立与竞技足球和社会发展相适应、结构合理、符合竞技足球人才成长规律,具有一定特色的足球队员文化教育办学体系,使运动员文化素质有明显提高,具体计划及要求如下:
1、足球队员文化教育工作的具体任务:坚持社会主义方向,坚持对队员进行德育教育、传统教育和职业道德教育。把提高足球队员基础教育水平和培养足球队员具有适应现代社会发展的能力作为重要任务。努力做到四个“有利于”。即:一是有利于足球队员综合素质的提高;二是有利于运动员运动技术水平的进一步提高;三是有利于足球队员升学;四是有利于竞技足球可持续健康发展。

4、应将足球队员文化学习效果(运动员出勤、成绩等)纳入教练员考核中。教练员要为运动员的将来负责,并不是所有运动员都能走向金牌的领奖台,即便如此也会和其它运动员一样,最终要参加考试、升学。教练员有责任在搞好训练的同时,合理安排时间,督促运动员参加文化课学习。
5、教师(教练员)要加强事业心、责任心,不断钻研提高业务水;要制定一系列训练计划,如长远目标计划、阶段性计划、年计划、月计划与周计划等;要以身作则,严格训练制度,科学训练,对具体训练对象做相应安排,全面系统提高学生身体素质、基本技术与战术素养,不断激励运动员个人或一支球队向更高等级迈进。同时,要鼓励足球队员参加各项集体活动,全面发展,并建立严格规范的运动员考核办法,为中学足球队员创造良好的学习和训练环境。
6、应形成思想工作、学习、训练一体化管理,建立各种制度和措施,把中学足球队员的业余训练和文化课的学习纳入学校或教务处的工作计划之内,定期检查,特别是文化课跟不上中等水平的学生,应停止训练,让其补课。有关领导、班主任和教练员要经常深入课堂、运动队检查作业,定期召开运动队领导组会议,听取情况,及时处理。外出比赛专派文化课教师跟队在空余时间补课,在假期集训期间,安排一定时间补上文化课。
7、加强中学学校管理力度,从宏观上控制弃学现象。创新人才培养模式——厚基础、宽口径、高素质,从小学学生运动员的实际需要和未来发展考虑增删课程。精心组织教材教法,重视知识结构,创造一定情景,因材施教,从心理内化角度激发学生学习兴趣。每次考试过后,要求学生及时总结考试中存在的问题,向老师和学生请教,真正弄懂弄通学习上的难题。
8、合理利用课外时间,抓紧训练工作,提高训练质量,为不影响学生的学习,尽量少占用学生在校期间的学习时间,提高学生的学习与训练的效率。同时,教练员要加强与文化课教师的沟通交流,互通有无,取得他们对训练工作的支持和配合。文化课教师要在态度、语言、行为上多给予运动员关心、帮助、指导,决不能有歧视思想。
运动成绩的取得与付出的时间体力和精力是相应的。学生运动员在课外运动训练中花费很多的时间,承受较大的运动负荷,必然用在文化课上的时间就少了,精力也必然受到分散。从这种意义上讲,中学足球队员的运动训练和文化课学习必然存在着一定的矛盾。目前许多中学校还没能处理好文化课学习与运动训练的关系,以及中学教练员的训练水平有限,不能很好的满足学生对运动训练带来的期望。
